MetalCore Launches Season 1 NFT Sale with New Features and More

MetalCore is kicks off its Season 1 NFT sale today, introducing a set of four new Mech units and 19 Infantry units, each designed to enhance gameplay.

Players have the opportunity to purchase these NFTs and compete for a share of the 90 million $MCG prize pool by climbing the leaderboards.

In addition to acquiring new units, participants will also have a chance to upgrade their NFTs’ rarity through a stat roll system.

Details of the NFT Sale

The sale begins on September 25 at 23:00 UTC and features two types of NFTs: Infantry units and Mechs. Players looking to bolster their in-game capabilities can purchase these NFTs using $MCG tokens on the zkEVM network.

For those holding $MCG tokens on other networks, MetalCore has provided a guide on how to bridge them to zkEVM using platforms like Squid or the Immutable bridge. A video tutorial is available to assist players in completing this process through their MetaMask wallets.

One of the unique features of this NFT sale is the stat roll system, allowing buyers the possibility to upgrade their NFTs to higher rarity tiers. The upgrade probabilities are as follows:

Uncommon NFTs:Uncommon: 85%Rare: 14%Epic: 1%Rare NFTs:Rare: 85%Epic: 14%Legendary: 1%

This feature gives every buyer a chance to acquire a more powerful and rare NFT, adding a dynamic aspect to the sale.

How to participate in the NFT sale?

To join the sale, players must have their $MCG tokens ready on the zkEVM network.

The sale will take place on the official MetalCore store and players who need to bridge their tokens can follow the provided tutorial via the official X announcement.
