August 3rd heralds the Elite 8 showdown, with a 3,000 AXS prize pool at stake. Only one victor will claim the Season 9 crown. Last season, Japan’s Nagipex edged out Zaratustra in a nail-biting duel. Secure a top 8 spot in the Final Era to join this elite competition. More details will come as the Elite 8 draws near. Stay tuned.
Collectible axie holders can claim their Season 9 Mystic Era collectible chests soon. These rewards will arrive via Origins in-game mail.
Starting from Off-season 9 on July 31st, Origins will disable the minting of Runes and Charms crafted 3 or more seasons ago. You can keep these older Runes and Charms in your in-game collection, but you cannot mint them to the marketplace. You can still deposit them to Origins from the marketplace, but you won’t be able to mint them back. For example, in Season 9, you can mint Runes and Charms from Season 7, 8, and 9. Runes and Charms from Season Alpha to Season 6 will no longer be mintable. If you want to mint your old Runes and Charms for collectible reasons, be sure to do so before July 31st.
