Five years ago, we embarked on a journey to build a digital nation unlike any other. It all began with our crate sale for land plots. It was a big event. It’s also one of the first successful digital land sales in blockchain history. We offered 17,217 land plots and a chance to find rare land items in the crates. Like a gold rush in Lunacia, this ignited the spirit of adventure and competition among our very first community members. Those who collected all the land items within two weeks of the sales event received something extraordinary: a plot in Luna’s Landing.
To understand just how rare Luna’s Landing plots are, let’s take a look at the breakdown of how many crates were sold for each type of land:
Savannah Crate: 5,349
Forest Crate: 5,359
Arctic Crate: 4,171
Mystic Crate: 2,338
Additionally, there was a very low chance of obtaining Genesis plots, with a total of only 75 available.
With thousands of crates sold, only a handful of Genesis plots available, and multiple types of items to collect, the opportunity to earn a Luna’s Landing plot was incredibly rare. The select few who achieved this feat truly stand out as dedicated and skilled collectors in our community.
Luna’s Landing is no ordinary piece of land. It is located at the very heart of Lunacia. It is a place of grandeur, promise, and lore! This special place now stands as a testament to the dedication and perseverance of the few who accomplished this remarkable feat. At the end of that historic sale, only a select few have earned the title of the rarest land plot holder in Lunacia. There are only eight of them!
We are proud to announce that we’ve successfully minted the 8 Luna’s Landing plots.
These are now delivered to their proud new owners based on a snapshot taken on 22nd of May, 2019, 10 PM PHT/9 AM EST. Congratulations to the following community members who secured their place in the heart of Lunacia:

With the Luna’s Landing plots minted, they will be added as a new type of plot and will be playable in Homeland in the future. With this addition, the center area of the Homeland map will finally be unlocked in-game. Luna’s Landing owners will be able to traverse around the plot and play with them. The Luna’s Landing plot will have a unique appearance, plot modifier, and earning capability within the game.
We are also introducing a brand-new badge for the Luna’s Landing owners. This isn’t just any badge—it’s a token of recognition for our OG collectors’ extraordinary journey within Axie Infinity.
