Lunacians, the Rare Era has drawn to a close. As the dust settles, we extend our congratulations to J0N for securing yet again the top spot with his formidable Turnip lineup.
The Rare Era saw the popularity of Feather teams—with Poison teams not far behind. However, we’ve also witnessed the rise of Turnip teams, especially on the top of the leaderboards. Jinx, Rage, and Anemone teams also held their ground.
The Epic Era of Season 9 has now begun! It’s time to find out who’s going to dominate this era. Here’s what’s on the line:
In the Epic Era, a massive prize pool of over 24.3K AXS is on the line — that’s 30% of the total prize pool for this season. Are you ready to battle? Shop for runes or craft your own. Gear up your axies. Epic Era will run from June 26th to July 10th. Check out this overview of the Epic Era rewards:
Don’t forget about the Collectible Chest rewards, a digital battle pass tied to your collectible axies. If you finish at Dragon Rank or higher in this Epic Era, you’ll receive Collectible Chests as a reward. The highest tier of collectible axie you hold determines your AXS bonus. Remember, to be eligible, your collectible axie must be in your account before the start of the Era and remain there until the Era’s end. For those who participated in the Rare Era, you should be receiving your Rare Era Collectible Chests soon.
The Gauntlet Mode for the Epic Era is coming soon— now with SLP rewards! Enter the Gauntlet from July 1st, 3:00:00 UTC to July 9th, 3:00:00 UTC. 15 Epic Rune buffs and 6 Rare Rune buffs will be available in the random buff rotation. Get ready to battle in this intense game mode and earn SLP!
Here’s how to get started:
Step 1: Select Gauntlet Mode and pay the 50 SLP entry fee. Each entry also consumes 3 Stamina.
Step 2: Choose 1 buff from the 3 random options displayed on the screen. This buff will apply to all axies on your team for the duration of the battle. Players only have 15 seconds to pick their buff!
Step 3: Battle it out against your opponent!
Step 4: Repeat steps 2 and 3 against new opponents until the end of your Gauntlet session.
A Gauntlet session ends once a player wins 7 games or loses 2 games.
Every Win: 300 AXP and 50 Moonshards
Every Loss: 60 AXP and 0 Moonshards
Every Draw: 180 AXP and 25 Moonshards
1st win – 300 Moonshards
2nd win – 20 SLP and 600 additional Moonshards
3rd win – 60 SLP and 900 additional Moonshards
4th win – 100 SLP and 1200 additional Moonshards
5th win – 150 SLP and 1500 additional Moonshards
6th win – 200 SLP and 2000 additional Moonshards
7th win – 300 SLP and 3000 additional Moonshards
7th win with no loses – 500 SLP and 5000 additional Moonshards
