Origins S17 is LIVE! The new season is here and it’s a big one. S17 is the first season where rewards will officially be distributed in bAXS, and it comes with new competitive integrity measures to keep the leaderboard clean. Here’s what you need to know:

S17 marks the official debut of bAXS rewards in Origins. All season rewards will be paid out in bAXS for the first time.
bAXS (Bonded AXS) is a non-transferable utility token backed 1:1 by AXS. It can be used for breeding, ascending, evolving, and staking, but cannot be transferred between accounts. This keeps value circulating within the Axie ecosystem and rewards players who are here for the long run.
Converting bAXS to AXS requires a Treasury fee scaled to your Axie Score. Mythkeepers and other high-reputation players enjoy significantly lower fees, rewarding long-term dedication over short-term farming.
In S17, the Top 2,000 players will share an 80K bAXS prize pool. The Rare Era alone features 20K bAXS in rewards, alongside additional bonus incentives.
Keeping Origins fair is a top priority. After our S16 investigation led to 241 accounts being permanently banned for multi-accounting, we’re raising the bar for S17.
Competitive integrity checks will now run after every era. Era rewards will be held until each check is complete so legitimate players can trust that the leaderboard reflects real competition, not just at season’s end but throughout.
Multi-accounting and leaderboard manipulation will result in a permanent ban from Axie Origins. No exceptions.
The Collectible Chest pool returns with 10,000 bAXS up for grabs and like season rewards, Collectible Chest payouts will be in bAXS for the first time.
The rules are the same: finish the Rare Era at Tiger rank or higher while holding your Collectible Axie for the entire era to earn Collectible Chests. Open them for Tickets, then redeem those Tickets for your share of the bAXS pool.
