Collectible Chest Reminder: Collectible axie holders who finish the Rare Era at Tiger rank or higher while holding their collectible axie throughout the entire era will earn Collectible Chests containing Tickets redeemable for a share of a 10,000 bAXS prize pool.

As shared in our recent Lunacian Lounge, S16 marks a historic shift for Axie Infinity. For the first time, all season rewards will be distributed in bAXS.

bAXS (Bonded AXS) is a non-transferable utility token backed 1:1 by AXS, designed to reward active players, while keeping value circulating within our ecosystem. It can be used for breeding, ascending, evolving, and staking, but it cannot be transferred to other accounts.

Players who choose to convert bAXS into AXS will pay a Treasury fee that scales based on Axie Score. High-reputation players, such as Mythkeepers, will pay significantly lower fees, prioritizing long-term contributors while discouraging short-term “farm and dump” behavior. The exact fee for each tier will be announced in the coming weeks.

In S16, the Top 2,000 players will share an 80K bAXS prize pool. The Rare Era alone features 20K bAXS in rewards, alongside additional bonus incentives.

Note: All season rewards will be distributed in bAXS at the end of the season. 1,000 mAXS = 1 bAXS

This season’s Collectible Chest pool includes 10,000 bAXS in total rewards. With the introduction of bAXS, all Collectible Chest rewards will also be distributed in bAXS.

Adopt a collectible axie

To qualify, players must finish the Rare Era at Tiger rank or higher while holding their Collectible Axie for the entire era. Earn Collectible Chests, open them to receive Tickets, and redeem those Tickets for bAXS rewards.
