Lunacians! Daily Bounty Boards have been spotted in towns all across our digital nation. These Bounty Boards are full of daily quests that bestow AXS rewards upon eager adventurers to reward active citizens for their good Lunacian habits.

The rumors are true: the Daily Bounty Board is the beginning of an Axie questing system. Complete daily bounties, accumulate points, and earn AXS rewards! Think of the Bounty Board as a weekly play-to-airdrop – or even an Axie Basic Income!

We built the Bounty Board to reward Lunacians for their contributions to our digital nation, and to guide newcomers through our ecosystem. Every single on-chain action makes a difference in our ecosystem, and the Bounty Board rewards those actions with AXS on a regular basis. While the amount of earned AXS may fluctuate week by week, one thing will stay constant: good Lunacian habits will bring rewards.

“We tuned the initial rollout to be egalitarian: anyone with 3 Axies can participate. We believe this will encourage increased Axie ownership across a broader population. We also believe that introducing someone to web3 and encouraging them to use the technology on a daily basis is one of the most significant acts of good that we can do on our new internet. Axie was built with this in mind.

In the future, if this feature achieves popularity, we plan to introduce more complex, differentiated quests that switch rewards based on player archetype. For example, owning Collectibles might unlock different quests with higher rewards.

While Atia’s Blessing has become a mainstay of the Axie community, we saw that only a small portion of the Axie playerbase interacts on-chain day to day. The Bounty Board doubles down on the concept of Atia’s Blessing and brings more Lunacians on-chain.

Today, the Bounty Board features four inaugural daily bounties for which Lunacians can earn a total of 115 points per day. If our community enjoys this feature, we’ll look into adding more bounties that may reward players based on player archetype – like collectors.”

Here are the four bounties available now:

Points: 15

Action: Sign-in and pray to Atia. This is the easiest bounty on the board and takes less than a minute! Remember to click “Verify” on the Bounty Board when you’re done!

Requirements: None. Use one of your Ronin Wallet’s free daily transactions to complete this bounty at no cost.

Points: 30

Action: Roll a Lucky or Premium Pouch in the Garuda Shrine Shop via the User Dashboard. Remember to click “Verify” on the Bounty Board when you’re done!

Requirements: You’ll need a collectible axie with enough Fortune Slips to roll a pouch in the Garuda Shrine Shop via the User Dashboard to complete this bounty.

Points: 35

Action: Play Axie Classic and defeat your opponent.

Requirements: You must verify your battle results through the Bounty Board upon winning a PvP battle to receive your points. That means your Classic victory only counts for points once you’ve clicked “Verify” on the Bounty Board.

Requirements: You must verify your battle results through the Bounty Board upon winning a PvP battle to receive your points. That means your Origins victory only counts for points once you’ve clicked “Verify” on the Bounty Board.

Step 1: Go to App.Axie.

Step 2: Navigate to the sidebar.

Step 3: Select “Bounty Board.”

Step 4: Complete the daily bounties.

Step 5: Verify your completion on the bounty board.

Step 6: Claim your AXS rewards once the weekly claim period opens!

The Daily Bounty Reset takes place at 03:00 UTC (10PM EST or 11am PH). Weekly AXS Claim opens every Wednesday at 03:00 UTC (10PM EST or 11am PH). If you don’t have three Axies in your wallet at this time, you will not receive your points. No Axies, no points. So, make sure you keep three Axies in your Ronin Wallet!

The Bounty Board rewards Lunacians with good Axie habits. Complete bounties → Accumulate points → Claim AXS rewards. Throughout the week, keep track of your estimated AXS rewards as they update in real-time on your dashboard. Here’s how we calculate those rewards:

(Individual User’s Earned Points / Total Ecosystem Earned Points) x Weekly Reward Pool

Here’s an example with round, whole numbers.

Imagine a user earns 70 points in 1 week because they prayed to Atia everyday. Now, imagine 10,000 other Lunacians did the same thing. That makes a total of 700,000 points earned through the Bounty Board!

We would then divide 70 by 700,000 to determine what percentage of the total points an individual user earned. In this example, each user earned 0.01% of the total points that week.

Next, we multiply that number by the total Weekly Reward Pool. That means we’re looking for 0.01% of the total amount of AXS up for grabs. Let’s say there was 10,000 AXS on the line. In our example, that means each user would be able to claim 1 AXS every week!

The Bounty Board released today is a very early iteration of a universal questing system for the Axie ecosystem. Over time, we envision adding quests that target and reward different archetypes. We also believe that the system could be used as an indicator for measuring an individual’s active engagement within the ecosystem.
