As some of you may have already heard, the migration from the Polygon (MATIC) sidechain to Polygon 2.0 (POL) is approaching. The Polygon team has scheduled this network upgrade for September 4th. We at CryptoGames will also be performing some changes to our MATIC integration on that day, so here is everything you need to know to be ready.
The day before, on September 3rd, all MATIC services will be paused, that includes deposits, withdrawals, exchanges, but also all games and bets. On the day itself, we will be performing the wallet upgrade and migrate all held MATIC to POL.
The day after, on September 5th, Polygon will be reactivated on the site as POL. The migration is a 1:1 swap, so any statistics and wagers will carry over from MATIC to POL, as well as any balances users had in MATIC before will now reflect in POL.
As a user, there is nothing you will have to do from your end, except being mindful of the deadlines, deposits received during the swap will not be automatically credited to your account, so it is important to check the current status before making any MATIC deposits, and to avoid making transactions during the swap.
