On September 1st, our digital nation will take another important step towards fulfilling the promise of digital ownership. We’re going to vote on an Axie Constitution that would empower citizens like YOU to put our digital nation’s multimillion AXS Axie Treasury to work. Here’s what’s happening:
AIP-002 is an Axie Improvement Proposal aiming to establish an Axie Constitution. This will enable us to set up a structure for decision-making around the Axie Treasury. Every Lunacian is welcome to vote YES or NO on the proposed Constitution, and there’s a section to introduce future amendments if needed. Thank you to Baronar, the Town Builders, and Contributors for crafting and further refining this proposal!
Axie Infinity is a digital nation made up of citizens like YOU. However, there are no clear guidelines around what it takes to become a citizen, how citizens can put the Axie Treasury’s funds to use, or who will get things done when citizens ask for it. The Axie Constitution answers questions like these and more.
The Axie Constitution is a five-page document that outlines:
Rules to govern itself and the Axie Treasury
Citizenship requirements, rights, and responsibilities
Voting power and systems (including Axie Scores)
Council formation for leadership roles
Processes to adjust the Constitution via the approval of citizens
These new badges honor Lunacians who made Community and Treasury Contributions through voting, breeding, trading, and minting Runes and Charms on App.axie. Learn more about them here! Your Axie Score has also been updated to reflect any points earned from these badges.
Remember: your Axie Score and Staked AXS influence your Voting Power in governance decisions like AIP-002. This is the final Axie Score update before the AIP-002 vote begins.
