Pixels to Host Barney’s Bazaarn Event and Virtual Wedding

Pixels, the popular social gaming platform on Ronin, is preparing to launch two significant events—Barney’s Bazaarn and a Virtual Wedding.

The first is a competitive event where players can earn rewards by fulfilling crafting orders whilst the second event is a virtual wedding, which will be live-streamed for the community to attend.

Barney’s Bazaarn Event will launch sometime within this month and is expected to last four to five days whilst the wedding is scheduled for September 8 and will feature special in-game items for attendees.

What is Barney’s Bazaarn Event?

Barney’s Bazaarn is an individual competition within the Pixels, focused on crafting and delivering goods to NPCs.

During the event, players will take on the role of an employee working for Barney and compete by completing orders to earn points, with the goal of climbing the leaderboard to win rewards.

The event operates on a shift system, with each player having three five-minute shifts within a 24-hour period to fulfill as many orders as possible. Orders involve crafting goods across industries like mining and forestry, and delivering them to NPCs at specific counters. Outside of shifts, players can prepare by crafting items in advance to maximize their productivity during active gameplay periods.

Players who hold land or have VIP status within Pixels will gain access to extra counters for fulfilling orders, allowing them to process more deliveries during their shifts. Additionally, crafting boosts can be purchased using $PIXEL to speed up the crafting process.

Rewards for the event include a prize pool that could reach $60,000 along with in-game assets such as land and pets, with winners determined by leaderboard rankings. In addition, players will have the chance to earn tickets that can be used in a gacha system for additional rewards.

A Virtual Wedding and More

In addition to the event, several key updates are being planned for the game, including significant adjustments to XP, recipes, and task boards. These changes are aimed at providing a more balanced and rewarding experience, particularly for high-level players, with new cooking tasks and other in-game features being fine-tuned.

Moreover, Pixels is set to host a virtual wedding on September 8 between two players, CloudwhiteNFT and Axielau. The ceremony will take place at the Pixels Wedding Venue and be live-streamed on YouTube at 21:30 UTC. An Energy Party will be held as a pre-wedding event beginning at 21:15 UTC. Exclusive in-game outfits, including a wedding gown and suit, will be available for a limited time leading up to the event.

Lastly, Pixels is also launching a mini-game on Telegram featuring Barney. This casual game will provide players with small rewards and add a new interactive feature to the broader Pixels experience.
