Our vision for the Bounty Board: We envision a Battlepass-inspired system for the Axie ecosystem — based on the Bounty Board. However, this transition will take time, and we want to make sure YOUR feedback plays a part. That’s why we’re phasing in these updates as Phase 1 begins today.
What this means for the SBB and PBB right now: Both Bounty Boards will remain LIVE for now. However, rewards will shift to favor the PBB and we’ll update the logic for about twenty SBB quests. We’ve also removed the Captcha requirements after reviewing community feedback. Full details below.
The great Bounty Board transition has begun! In 2024, we launched TWO daily quest systems to reward active community members for their good habits. Today, we’re taking the first step towards uniting them under ONE Bounty Board. This phased update will lay the foundation for an even more rewarding Bounty Board experience. Here’s what’s happening:
Today, the Standard Bounty Board (SBB) is open to anyone and features simple quests. It’s a great way for new recruits to learn the ropes in our movement. On the other hand, the Premier Bounty Board (PBB) is gated by Fortune Slips or Premier Tickets. It drives Lunacians to deepen their connection to our ecosystem via more challenging quests. What if one Bounty Board could accomplish both missions at the same time — and even introduce more unique experiences?
Think of it like a Battlepass-inspired system for the Axie ecosystem. That’s the direction we envision for the PBB. More quests, more progression, more rewards. However, this transition will take time, and we want to make sure YOUR feedback plays a part. That’s why we’re phasing in these updates — and Phase 1 began today.
The SBB and PBB will both remain LIVE for now, and we’ve removed the Captcha requirements after reviewing community feedback. We’re also shifting rewards over to the PBB. That means MORE rewards on the PBB, and FEWER rewards on the SBB. Here’s what Phase 1 looks like:
We also updated the PBB quest logic to prevent the same parent quest from appearing in multiple slots. For example, if you roll a quest that requires releasing any beast class axie, you will not be able to roll that quest from the same tier. This reduces confusion caused by overlapping bounties, and encourages users to complete a greater diversity of quests. This update will affect the following bounties today:
Buy any [random class] axie
Feed 10 Regular Cocochoco to any [random class] axie
Release any [random class] axie
Feed 1 Premium Cocochoco to any [Summer, Nightmare, Japanese, Xmas, Shiny, MEO] axie that you’ve owned for at least 24 hours, or buy an axie without placing an offer and feed it today!
Buy any [random class] axie with [random normal part]
Buy [3, 4, or 5] Premium Cocochoco
Breed any [random class] axie
Evolve any [random class] axie
Win against 3 [Aquatic, Plant, or Beast]/[Bird, Reptile, or Bug]/[Dawn, Dusk, or Mech] Axies in Arena, or Mini Tournament mode
Spend 200 [SLP, or Gold]
Win 1 Arena, or Mini Tournament battle with formation [random class]-[random class]-[random class]
Win a total of 2 battles in Arena, or Mini Tournament mode with 1 [random class] axie in team
Craft 3 [Equipment, or Consumable]s
Craft 3 Rare or higher [Equipment, or Consumable]s
Craft 2 Epic or higher [Equipment, or Consumable]s
Craft 5 Legendary or higher [Equipment, or Consumable]s
Produce 40 units of [Metalwork, or Agriculture] material

The Standard Bounty Board went LIVE in April of 2024, and Lunacians have been earning weekly $AXS rewards ever since. We’re doubling-down on our Bounty Boards’ successes by merging them and laying a foundation for a more expansive experience.
