Lunacians, the Nightmare Accessory Airdrop is coming soon! This is your only chance to acquire freshly-minted Bloodmaw, Eyewyrm, and Nightbloom accessories. Accessories are tradeable items you can equip in-game to elevate your axies’ look. They’re scarce, stylish, and symbolic artifacts that will make a statement in our digital nation for generations to come.
The upcoming Nightmare Accessory Airdrop will be split into two parts: Airdrop 1 and Airdrop 2. Qualification for Airdrop 1 is over, but there’s still time to qualify for Airdrop 2! Here’s what’s happening:
The first Nightmare Airdrop will reward Lunacians who evolved at least 2 nightmare-eligible parts before the Wings of Nightmare event announcement. Here are the details:

We’ll share more qualification details this week. However, here’s what we can reveal right now: you’ll need to evolve at least two Level 1 parts into Nightmare parts to qualify! Wondering how to evolve? Follow these steps:
Step 1: Make sure your axie has at least one of the twenty-four base parts eligible for a Nightmare Evolution.
Step 2: Gather the required Evolution materials.
Note: This includes Mementos for the Evolution, and AXS for the Evolution Fee. There are no additional materials required for a Nightmare Part Evolution. Learn more about part evolution here.
Step 3: Go to App.axie and click “Evolve.”
Step 4: Choose “Instant Evolution” to see your parts right away, or wait for the normal evolution to complete in 96 hours!
The Wings of Nightmare was more than a limited-time part evolution event: they introduced a brand new axie collection to App.axie – the Nightmare collection. The event kicked off in November of last year, and has been ongoing ever since. However, it will soon come to an end! Beyond eligibility for Airdrop 2, here are a few benefits you can receive by evolving a Nightmare part over the next two weeks:
• Earn Fortune Slips every day• Make your axies rarer• Get one step closer to securing an ultra-rare Nightmare Body• Accumulate in-game rewards like Nightmare collectible chests and Runes & Charms boxes by Meta Morphing Nightmare parts
The Nightmare Realm will always welcome Lunacians who dare to enter. Over the next two weeks, evolve at least two Nightmare parts to secure your own accessories imbued with mysterious magic. Your nightmares may be haunted if you don’t!
