No more back-and-forth reminders between Managers and Scholars to level up axies! When delegating an axie, you can now enable scholar access to ascend the delegated axie seamlessly.
Metamorph Delegation is here! Scholars can now use this feature while playing with collectible axies in Origins.
AXP progression is now visible on the axie details page, giving scholars clear insights into their progress.
In this App.Axie update, a new feature for delegating Axie Ascension and Origins Metamorph is now available—bringing improvements and unlocking new potential for more axies to be utilized in-game. Over 235K axies are being delegated today, and who knows where this new feature will take us next!
In addition to earning Fortune Slips, managers can now toggle the delegation settings for Axie Ascension and Origins Metamorph. Any fees associated with these actions will be covered by the scholar. Once delegated, scholars can also bulk ascend these axies along with their owned axies.
Note: Existing delegations must be revoked before enabling Axie Ascension. However, managers can toggle the Metamorph feature in the Delegation Centre without revoking the delegation.
Other than just delegation permission, Scholar can now see the AXP progression of their delegated axies on the Axie details page.
Q: As a scholar, if I ascend a delegated axie and have an ascension quest, who gets the quest completion?
A: The scholar will complete the PBB quest, not the owner.Q: As a manager, can I still ascend the delegated axie?
A: Yes.Q: Can scholars bulk ascend Axies?
A: Yes, scholars can bulk ascend delegated axies along with their owned axies.
Q: Does this update introduce a new juggling rule?
A: No new juggling rule has been applied. If you have a quest for ascending an axie, you can still request others to delegate an axie to you and complete the quest.
Q: Can Metamorph permissions be changed without revoking the delegation?
A: Yes, Metamorph permissions can be toggled anytime in the Delegation Center without needing to re-delegate.
Q: What happened with the Metamorph state when the delegation ended or revoked?
A: If scholars morphed the axie parts, once the delegation ended/revoked, the morphed parts will remain.
Q: Are there any limitations when using Origins Metamorph with delegation?
A: Yes. If you delegate an axie from the same account but a different wallet address (e.g., Seedphrase to Keyless or Keyless to Seedphrase), you must disable the “Allow Metamorph” option. Otherwise, you won’t be able to use the Metamorph feature.
